This series of 3 carved mugs is an ode to California’s vast and overlapping landscapes that I have visited in my travels via motorcycle: ancient coastal forests, dry desert hills, lush and shaded valleys. Each mug is wheel-thrown in red clay and hand-carved, shaped as much by climate and place as by memory.
This oak leaf design wraps all the way around the mug and is framed by a beautiful blue and brown glaze that remind me of where the blue sky meets sandy shores.
Size: holds approximately 15 ounces of liquid and stands 4.25” tall
Microwave and dishwasher safe.
