This series of 3 carved mugs is an ode to California’s vast and overlapping landscapes that I have visited in my travels via motorcycle: ancient coastal forests, dry desert hills, lush and shaded valleys. Each mug is wheel-thrown in red clay and hand-carved, shaped as much by climate and place as by memory.
This succulent design adorns one side of the mug and is framed by a beautiful turquoise glaze inside and on the rim.
Size: holds approximately 16 ounces of liquid and stands 4.75” tall
